Vietnam Construction Investment Corporation (VINADIC) will complete all items of Vinfast project in September 2018, in line with the original plan.
Located in Km 3 on the longest sea route in Vietnam, connecting Lach Chiec Port & Dinh Vu Economic Zone (Cat Hai, Hai Phong), there is VinFast car production complex. This is a project that Vietnam Construction Investment Development Corporation has participated as a contractor and is in the process of completion.
VinFast is located in the sea area of Cat Hai – Hai Phong
Started from September, 2017, the shape of VinFast is gradually becoming more obvious. From a coastal area which used to be shrimp pond and salt field – the livelihood of many poor islanders, Cat Hai today is adorned by the big site of VinFast – a complex of automobile production with the aim of making Vietnamese-branded vehicles within 24 months.
Engineering team always stays focused on the project
“Proud to be one of the contractors participated in this big project from the beginning days, Vietnam Construction Investment Development Corporation is involving in these categories: infrastructure works, roads, construction on water supply and drainage system, breakwater and etc, which accounted for over 300 billion and to continue developing these remaining categories of the project.
As an ambitious project: building and developing a car manufacturing complex under Vietnamese brand name, all stages of the works are strictly monitored by a technician team who are nationally and internationally leading experts. Therefore, from the beginning, BODs of Vietnam Construction Investment Corporation has been careful in recruiting the engineers and workers’ team with high professional qualifications, meeting the requirements from the project’s investors. Currently, the company has about 250 people working here.
To ensure the process of completion and quality assurance in each category, BODs regularly visits construction sites to monitor and inspect the progress of completion and construction quality. On a weekly basis, BOD’s representatives will drive a car from Ha Noi to Cat Hai, Hai Phong to check the progress and quality of the construction works here and encourage the spirit of the people who work away from home.
“Regardless of rainy days and sunny days, the worker team are present at the site to keep up with the progress. Expectedly, these categories will be completed during this year September. Just less than 2 months from now, so we have been splitted 3 shifts of working, and all of us put our best effort to finish early while still ensuring the required quality according to the fast – track model (construction works run concurrently with design job)”, Mr. Nguyen Van Doan – Commander at Vinfast said.
It is known that the VinFast production complex will have five main workshops which are a press shop, a car auto body shop, a paint shop, an engine shop and an assembly workshop along with the main building with the area of 50 hectare. This promises to transform Cat Hai-Hai Phong’s coastal area in the coming time into one of the most crowded island districts not only in Hai Phong province but also in the whole country.
Smiles are still present on the lips of people who are working day and night on the Vinfast’s construction site.
